On December 10th, 2019 the NAACP called for a boycott of Olde Towne Butcher for their involvement in a lawsuit against the city to halt the removal of the Auction Block.

Dominion maintains the $7.5-billion pipeline is "needed now more than ever" for economic growth and to reduce carbon emissions, but the court called out regulators for failing to adequately consider the impacts on local populations.

Word is the Mountain Valley Natural Gas Pipeline is that the project is nearly complete, but construction remains on hold for the winter and several environmental permits are still in limbo.
